Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA) is an industry association which aims to promote open access publishing (also known as Gold Open Access) and to establish best practices in the field. It brings together the major open access publishers on the one hand and independent — often society- or university-based — publishers on the other, along with some hybrid open access publishers. While having started out with a focus on open access journals exclusively, it is now expanding its activities to include matters pertaining to the open access publishing of books as well.

The Christian Periodical Index (CPI) is the comprehensive electronic index to journal articles and book reviews from across the evangelical Christian perspective. This is an essential resource for the study of Evangelical Christianity.
The database indexes more than 160 publications and contains titles from a wide variety of disciplines that present a Christian viewpoint including science, literature, medicine, music, philosophy, history, sociology, nursing, and education.

The Slavic Humanities Index is a bibliographic database in the field of Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern European Studies. This comprehensive database provides access to scholarly and cultural periodicals published in Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine. Designed for the academic community and other interested researchers, the index aims to improve accessibility to scholarship from the region and thus aid research in this field. This resource presents a wealth of material for new scholarship, which provides more visibility to contemporary scholarship from the region. The intent of this index is to open the rich world of Slavic humanities to scholarly and cultural communities around the globe. Creators started to add full-text articles to the Slavic Humanities Index with publisher’s permissions. They hope that this will make the index more valuable research tool for Slavic studies.

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) is an online directory that indexes and provides access to high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social science and humanities. This directory has index of about 2 million articles from more than 10,000 journals of open-access publishers from 134 countries.
The project defines open access journals as scientific and scholarly journals that meet high quality standards by exercising peer review or editorial quality control and use a funding model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access.

Google Scholar is a freely accessible web search engine that indexes the full text or metadata of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and disciplines. Google Scholar index includes most peer-reviewed online journals of Europe and America's largest scholarly publishers. This product provides the citation indexing features. While Google does not publish the size of Google Scholar's index, third-party researchers estimated it to contain roughly 160 million documents.

CyberLeninka — Scientific Electronic Library is open access (Open Access), whose main objectives is to promote science and research activities, public control of quality of scientific publications, the development of interdisciplinary research institute of modern scientific review and improvement of Russian science citation.

Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine (SPU VNLU) Producer: Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine - project Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine (VNLU). Ukrainian scientific periodicals contain articles from international journals in all fields of knowledge and carries out the completion of full-text electronic information resources, electronic counterparts publications or electronic publications provided by the owners. As part of an information resource "Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine" is adjusted full-text search of scientific publications in PDF format. VNLU spent working on the integration of information resource "Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine" to the interface of analytical services, Google Scholar (Google Academy). It contains approximately 2520 - journals; 25372 - issues; 628524 - full texts of articles.
